Each year, the members of Firefighters Credit Union elects three individuals to the Board of Directors (Board). Members of the Board serve three year terms. There are nine members of the Board.
To qualify as a candidate for the Board, and individual must be a member in good standing* of Firefighters Credit Union, must be at least 18 years of age, must commit to attend at least 75% of the monthly Board meetings each year, must agree to obtain basic financial statement training within six months of being elected to the board, must not have any conflicts of interest, and must agree to follow the by-laws and policies established by the Board.
Those interest in being a candidate for the Board should send an email to the nominatingcommittee@firefighterscu.com with their full name and a short bio stating their qualifications.
*Member in good standing is a member that has not caused the credit union a loss or had other restrictions placed on their account with the credit union.
